They would match up perfectly. ::tu:: Nice guitar! Is Fender still making Hammer guitars? I'm an acoustic guy although I have had several acoustic/electric guitars. Just sold a 1975 Ovation Custom Legend that had a pick-up. So right now I only have my Martin D-15 and a homemade mandolin.

Nah, Hamer USA went out of business. Another company bought the name and was making them in Indonesia. Pretty good guitars, but not like the USA ones.. Those D-15's are great!

I love my D-15 but lately I've been having a craving for an arched back Guild. The USA made Guilds are outstanding high quality guitars but they also have a line of Asian made guitars that are nice for the price. One of my friends has a Gibson J-200 that I keep trying to steal too.

Well, if we’re gonna show guitars I‘m gonna break out my pride and joy.
The day I picked it up after completing it

This guitar was built at The Wayne Henderson School of Appalachian Arts in Marion, VA. There were five students and three master luthiers in the class I attended. I wish I could say I built it, but I had a lot help from the three master luthiers. I can say it is a one of one and it is the best playing guitar I’ve ever played. And to quote an old Shake and Bake TV commercial, “ And I helped”.

Beautiful guitar Bill! The fact that you built it yourself is priceless. ::clapping:: ::clapping::

I had a friend (now dearly departed) in WV who made guitars. He made the mandolin I have. Well, it's not really a mandolin because he had never made a mandolin before so the back isn't arched and the bracing is done more like a guitar than a mandolin. It has its own sound. I call it a manditar.
