I've been sick with Covid for the last few weeks, now I'm a little better. When I'm sick, strange thoughts come to mind. I took my Victorinox, which has a strange tool. I couldn't find it in the current catalog, but most likely it's for gardeners, since it's not sharpened and the edge is oval cutting edge. Maybe for lifting bark. And I carved a cross so that when I find myself somewhere, I could stick it into a tree or the ground and have it before my eyes. This is what my grandfather did and then, as it turned out, it is an old tradition among shepherds

I suppose I wasn't paying attention when I ordered this, but look at the size of this beast compared to my hand! It's 8 inches closed, and with blades fully extended - 18 inches! But I like it! And the file work ain't too shabby either. This looks like your kind of knife, Mark! :D

Thank you sir. The older ones with nice bone are getting tougher to find because they're such knock around knives.

Thanks Mark! Now the quest is getting the other Sere folders from the same era eventually, with the same handle material.
Don't have any of the fixed blades yet either. My collecting focus is changing to acquiring sets of the same knife, maker, pattern, model,
or series, vs. random purchasing. Yes, we do have like minded preferences in knives! 8) ::handshake::
