FedEx/USPS Shipping Scam

Post by TripleF »

So From a sale on eBay.....I have options for shipping.
Usually when I see the FedEx is less I choose that and come to find out it also is handled by USPS.
I was confused......why 2 companies felt the need to get in on the action but nothing it right in today's world.
Well, it happened.....my package got lost.
I submitted the tracking number shown on eBay on FedEx and what does it reply:
We're sorry, USPS is handling this delivery.
Submit the same number on USPS and what to they reply:
We're sorry this is an invalid tracking number.

Unreal.

In some cases, FedEx packages, particularly those shipped via FedEx SmartPost, are delivered locally by USPS, where FedEx handles the initial transport to a local post office, and USPS then completes the "last mile" delivery.

To track a package delivered in this manner, you'll need to use both the FedEx and USPS tracking systems.
FedEx Tracking:
- Use the FedEx tracking number to track the package until it's handed over to USPS.
- USPS Tracking: If you have a USPS tracking number (provided by the sender or in the FedEx tracking details), use that number to track the package within the USPS system.

I agree, unreal!
