The early version appears to have squared pinched bolsters and the 1931 version appears to have rounded bolsters. As we know, the catalog pages do not always reflect absolute accuracy, as far as that goes. I think the OP knife has rounded bolsters?

It appears Western used the same convention as Case when it comes to adding a “zero” in the pattern number to denote a modification to the original pattern. As pointed out, in your catalog examples the 94 (1921 catalog) and the 094 have different bolsters.

My Western States farmers jack looks pretty much like my Utica farmers jacks. The two catalog cuts even resemble one another, but you can draw your own conclusions.
