I-Man, I picked up this BK-9 the other day and it has the Micarta grips. I like them a lot, great feel in my hand

Thanks, everyone, a Pileated has been ripping thru that stump recently, I thought I would use it for a prop before it becomes a memory.

Hey, that's speaking my language. I have two, the BK 9 and BK 16. Stripped off the black coating and made Teak wood handles for the 9. Micarta aftermarket handles for the 16. And here I am with mr. Ethan Becker himself this year at the OKCA show. One of my hero's of the knife world.

... and I have some signed boxes from him when I bought a Companion and BK 7 right out of his booth
.... Just don't EVER mention to him that you might think the original fiberglass handles might be a little "slick" ...
