Thanks, everyone, a Pileated has been ripping thru that stump recently, I thought I would use it for a prop before it becomes a memory. 8)

Thanks Ike, ::handshake:: The old and original handles were very smooth.... and some owners thought they were too smooth. This micarta gives a lot more "contact" so to speak....

Hey, that's speaking my language. I have two, the BK 9 and BK 16. Stripped off the black coating and made Teak wood handles for the 9. Micarta aftermarket handles for the 16. And here I am with mr. Ethan Becker himself this year at the OKCA show. One of my hero's of the knife world.

Now that is an awesome looking trio of Beckers! I met him at Shot Shows in Vegas in 2007 and 2008, what a wonderful gentleman! ::hmm:: ... and I have some signed boxes from him when I bought a Companion and BK 7 right out of his booth :D .... Just don't EVER mention to him that you might think the original fiberglass handles might be a little "slick" ... .... ::facepalm::

::rotflol:: ::clapping:: Wouldn't think of mentioning that to Ethan but you can see I thought the same thing. Hence the custom covers on both. ::paranoid::

Marco, I'm on the left. ::woot::
