Re: Anyone collect Bowies?
Just arrived today, Puma SGB Bowie with smooth white bone handles. So far I'm tickled with it.
I bought this as a user, meaning I fully intend to use this knife. Not sure for what, but it will be with me on whatever adventures I have this summer,
The pistol is a Pietta knock off of a 1851 Navy in 36 caliber. If I remember correctly it uses .375 balls.

St. John Chapter 1
...12 But as many as received him (Jesus), to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God...
...12 But as many as received him (Jesus), to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God...

The stamp is very worn and can`t make it out. Faith is marked on the blade

Re: Anyone collect Bowies?
If it isn’t too much trouble, could you post some photos of it and maybe give some dimensions?
That is the same type that I tried to emulate in my build and is my favorite style of Bowie by far.
Here’s my attempt:
