Hey hey, all my BladeBrothers!
First order of business, who wants to know what Elvis is doin'? Kidding of course, but there was a point I was pretty sure I'd be meeting him soon, very scary stuff not being able to draw breath.

I'd been short of breath for a couple days but chocked it up to over exerting myself, when suddenly I couldn't breath at all. I was fortunate the gal who cared for my cat was with me and she called an ambulance after I kept asking her the same question over and over. I caught a glimpse of myself in the ambulance window and saw my eyes bugging out as the ventilator was ramming air into my lungs, scary stuff indeed.

At the hospital they stabilized my breathing, and after tests told me I have viral pneumonia and would be there a week or more. At that point I ordered a TV that came fully equipped with internet service. I figured you guys would be wondering what happened to me and I wanted to log-in to report, but then realized the AAPK system wouldn't recognize that computers address and I couldn't remember my password since I have it saved in this laptop so there was nowhere to proceed. My apologies for leaving ya'll hangin' guys.

I went in on the 19th and was back home late on the 29th with all my affairs in order. There was no evidence of entry, although the Fire Department did do a Welfare Check earlier due to a couple of you thoughtful guys calling and requesting one. I need to go back for a reassessment but that's down the road.

When I logged-in today and read the 2 "Marco" threads, I experienced some heart felt emotions and some humorous one's also from your comments. You guys would make teriffic detectives with your scrutinizing minds, so much so that perhaps we should start the AAPK Detective Agency. You had me from dead to vacationing in Hawaii!
There will be some rehab, but if I take it slowly they say I'll fully recover.

I was saving the 2 special knives I posted for another time, but after reading in my contract late one night in bed that I have an expiry date I figure I'd do it now just in case.

Thank you one and all for all your positive comments and well-wishes, it's very nice knowing you're cared for and missed when you're absent suddenly, although we'll likely never meet I couldn't ask for a better group of friends than you guys!

Since I've decided I can have more than just 1 Grail knife, this is my new and current auto Grail! It's a 10" Matt Diskin linerlock stiletto made entirely of mirror polished Titanium and features an abalone button, accompanied by a 9 oz. weight. Fires fast and crisp along with rock solid lock-up and feels sooo good in my hand! Matt Diskin has designed many knives including the very popular Kershaw Launch 8! The first 3 pictures are from someone else cuz I really wanted you to see the knife well and didn't want to rely on my usual pictures as confirmed by the last 2 pictures!

This is a hen's-teeth rare 9 1/4" Cold Steel Caledonian Edge linerlock, featuring a San Mai III needle-point blade, NS fluted bolsters, Titanium frame/liners, and black micarta covers! Silky-smooth 1-hand opening/closing! Weighs in at 6 oz.'s! My new manual Grail!

At first, I thought that this post wasn't from the real Mark, but then I scrolled down to the pictures and saw the famous chapeau! I realized then, that reports of your death were greatly exaggerated! ::groove::

they obviously didn’t find your accumulation of auto’s or your cat hid them according to a prearranged plan.

Thanks fellas, I'm getting overwhelmed.

I didn't know I'd been declared dead, Ike, I'm sure glad it was wrong!

I'll certainly try not to, WW! ::nod::

Since it was the Fire Department who did the check, Tom, I was fairly safe they wouldn't care, but my cat was also in cahoots just in case! ::paranoid::

Sorry, Randy, that certainly wasn't my intention! ::shrug::

Good to see you feeling better, and posting, but your health is more important. ::nod:: Just take it easy till you get completely better, pneumonia can come back worse if you rush things and try and do too much. Take care my friend. ::handshake::

Sorry I started the whole mess, Marco! It just wasn't like you to not be posting or responding to PM's. Knives are our lives! well, not really, but I admit I was worried about my buddy in Canada! Glad you're back! Oh, and those are some great knives you have there!

I didn’t think you were in the hospital or worse, I figured you had made a trip to Sin City and ended up in the clink….it happens

First, good looking knives!
But most importantly, so glad to have you back with us, my friend! Sorry you had to go through that ordeal - and I know you still have a ways to go - but at least you’re back home and recovering. Keep on posting! You truly were missed!

Glad you're back in the saddle Marco. You need to celebrate your jailbreak from the hospital with an extra special knife!
