Great knife! And a 1851 Colt make a nice prop. To display it on.
You can always get more money, good old knives are hard to find.

Nature abhors a vacuum, me I hate a dull knife.

Some wonderful knives being shown. With a nice bowie, life can be pretty darn good.

Nice! ::tu::

My latest Bowie, at least that's what Bear and Son calls it.
At any rate it is a well made, USA knife.

That's a good looking knife. ::tu::
The choil area seems a little long though.

Kind of like this one.

Nice knife there Ken, very nice stag! ::hmm:: I think my knife is a bit of a copy of a Randle #1. You are right, ::paranoid:: the choil area seems a little long ::paranoid:: Not my Randle #1, but it seems to have a somewhat longer choil than seen on other knives. ::hmm::

I guess the long choil is just part of the design. My "SOG Agency" is quite similar.

Very nice Ken! I think it has a very elegant yet "let's get down to 'bidness (and killing is my 'bidness)" look to it. ::hmm::

looking at your post again, I was struck by the appearance of the top knife, it appears to have a bayonet handle as it's handle. ::hmm:: Do you have any information on it? Who made it, where it was made?

I did a quick search and it seems that your Krag rifle bayonet is rare and potentially worth thousands. Great find! ::tu::

First is the SOG Super Bowie.

2nd is a Marbles leather handle Bowie. The Marbles is sort of a heavy duty version of fighter style knife.
