AKC keychain knives?
Keep on seeing a group of keychain knives over and over. Loads on the AKC Italy page. They are like this:
https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/ca ... hain-knife
https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/ca ... lade-knife
Does AKC even make a keychain knife? They sure look exactly like ones on wish.

Not sure why this is posted in the conterfeit section, clearly stated as Chinese replica models. They actually look pretty kool, and I beleive (have to check myself again) that being under 2" of blade they are legal in most states too.

I see tons listed on the AKC page. Does AKC even make these? Some even claim to be not mass produced and made exclusively, yet if you look here, they are identical and available by the bucket load.

I know nothing about AKC knives. Have you asked the seller for more info about origin of the knives he is selling? Or maybe proof they are made by AKC?

This one doesn't say China or replica. The wording seems to do everything but that.SwedgeHead wrote: ↑Wed Jan 03, 2024 11:09 pm Not sure why this is posted in the conterfeit section, clearly stated as Chinese replica models. Re: AKC keychain knives?
Nothing on these listings that reference AKC either, and no tang stamps to be confused. But these are $20 knives, so folks could make assumptions based on that too. Both say "Modeled after 1930's and 40s knives" ... to each their own of course, they are cheap knives but there doesn't seem to be any intent to decieve the buyer or cause to tag them as counterfeit (maybe other listings or sites...). I've got no real skin in this game, so just my opinions and wanting to be fair you understand, but still, NOW I want one! LoL

Swedge, these are listed for sale on the AKC Italy Page and described as not mass produced and exclusive.

If you want one, I know where you can get them by the bucket load!

AH OK, now I gotcha! I have found that link to be a bucket for most of the "Italian" labeled or styled autos for sale, its a mix of all the different makers.TBear80 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 04, 2024 7:32 pm Swedge, these are listed for sale on the AKC Italy Page and described as not mass produced and exclusive.

Re: AKC keychain knives?
Putting these in the AKC Italy page seems misleading. With the descriptions that often leave out made in China and include claims of being not mass produced paint a picture. Maybe this should go to the switchblade forum. There are a few other examples that are head scratchers.
