Scott that’s a Smith & Wesson 66-1 .357 magnum and you can shoot .38 special with a 6” barrel.Made of SS very accurate, great trigger.Be prepared to drop at least a grand for one.You can get a model 19 but not SS same gun.

Hunting in Maine you have to be prepared.During deer season we deal with bear season and coydogs . Most of the game up here is shot inside of 50yards and black bear can sneak right up on ya.A lot of time you have moose in rut wandering around you.

I've been carrying this old Strawberry bone Case lately. It's one of my favorites.
I bought it used and trussed up and it's a fine knife.
I've had it for several years.
Very responsive springs. 64052

Thank you treefarmer.

Yes, I think it's solder but I think it is silver solder.
There's a little piece of copper in there too. ::shrug::

What I didn't show is that the liners in this knife are all nickel silver. It's a beauty.

I'm amazed at how much the green liner lights up that ram's horn. 💯

The handle on your Horsewright fixed blade is very interesting. Looks like some type of jade colored horn. Never seen anything like it. Very cool 8) ::tu::

Thanks a bunch. I have found good patina comes from cutting up a bunch of salad veggies. Lettuce, broccoli, carrots, peas, onion, calaflower, cellary, cucumber, mushrooms, radish, bell pepper, lime and balsamic vinegrette dressing, sliced red grapes on top.The patina is rich, dark, and thick. Better than a single item. Try it, love to see your results.
::hmm:: .... an amazing patina... and longer heathier life... might just be a good idea... ::hmm::

ts a very truculent ram horn. The liner color underneath really show through. Dave Ferry says its one of his most popular ram horn colors he uses.

I-Man, great pictures, ::tu:: ::tu:: Great looking stag! I 😍 Love the spear blade and the patina is outstanding! I have tried mustard and other liquids, lemon juice etc... but those patinas on mine aren't as good as these ones. Great job!

I'd love to try the salad you just described, buddy, hold the mushrooms mind you, you've left my mouth watering! ::drool::

You can my friend, just substitute in another item you like better than the mushrooms. On any given day I might or might not have one or two of these items and maybe have zucchini instead, or some avocado, or something else. It's not a hard and fast recipe, it's a general group that has additions and subtractions given the particular day. But I love to make a big salad and put it in a tuperware in the fridge and eat it for a few days until it turns. Love the stuff. Great patina from it too.
