Those are some wonderful vintage knives Iman. I wonder how many years are required for a knife to become an antique.

Thanks QS. No idea. Heard that it's 25 years to vintage/classic in cars. Never heard on knives. Surprised I haven't read a discussion on that topic after all these years. But hey, I have not read all threads on such stuff and there are a ton of them. Good question QS.

Thanks Theo, appreciate that. I love the hand hammered pins and rat tail bolsters and the jigging on the KK. Should carry it more but it's special and don't want to lose it or damage it. Today it will be safe though. Thanks again.

Those 1225's are light and easy carries. I've got one I carry from time to time and sometimes will forget it's in my pocket.

The Case Canoe you posted yesterday, Garry, looks cherry red on my screen and looks great, perhaps it's just the red background though, but this S & M you showed us today looks creamy cinnamon brown and is quite possibly my all time favorite knife pattern, a single spear-point blade along with a straight simple body = all time favorite!
I would love to see all your knives lined-up beside all my knives, I'd bet dollars to donuts there'd be plenty that look very similar!
You have impeccable taste, sir!

I may be repeating myself, but to create the impression of impeccable taste I only need keep my highly peccable knives well hidden.

Seriously, would your favorite pattern not be an automatic of some type?

Not so, Garry, you own some of the most beautiful knives many of us have ever seen, and that requires impeccable taste. And, your comment is a repeat but still just as funny! ::rotflol::

You got me! ::mdm:: Of course my favorite would be an automatic, as-a-matter-of-fact I have it pictured in my head right now, but for an everyday carry around with you pocket knife, those S & M single spear-points check all the boxes for me.

I don't think it gets any more common sense than that one. Been on the list since I got into lightweight lockbacks about 3-4 years ago. Need to finally buy that one, as it's just about right, and weighs essentially nothing. I also like that it has a clip-point, as opposed to the drop-point more common.

It's got everything going for it and nothing against that I can see. Drop it in the pocket and don't worry. It's big enough the way I like it and light enough.

I don't know....... Knice Knife has a good look to it. :) Especially if you talk goofy like I do sometimes and pronounce it Ka-nife. ::woot::
