That is a fancy cutter. I doubt many of our brothers and sisters cut open their boxes with a Damascus blade. A very lovely knife indeed.

Nice! If I'm not mistaken, judging by the horse, that's an older one, probably '80s or '90s.

That EO is really nice! I like the wider blade compared to the little Utica/Klein ones I have several of kicking around.

Killer bones, fabulous pair of knives. Love those. Minds think alike. I really like the old peach seed jigging like those you have. Stellar colors. ::tu:: ::tu::

That's a sweet little chunk of antler. Those Tobacco knives are always good looking.

Ivoryman wrote: Wed Aug 16, 2023 5:58 pm A page of beauties everyone. Very fun to scroll through.

Couple of old Schrade's with me today. The Stockman is a Walden, the bare head jack a Cut co. The Barehead looks about like it has original blades and edge. I stropped it very lightly and it shaves hair easily. Loooooooooooooooove the old Schrade steel. Someone years ago said it was the best carbon steel out there. I didn't know what they meant until I picked one up. Now I get it big time. ::nod::
You have some of the most gorgeous EDCs Iman....I really enjoy seeing what you post ::tu:: ::tu::

Thanks, appreciate the compliments. But it's all thanks to copying those who came before, monkey see monkey do around here and that's the addictive thing. When I came here years ago I was content to carry SAK and such. Nothing wrong with them either, but after seeing all the cool knives around here I suddenly felt strongly compelled to get some of those too. And I did and looked high and low for some, spent way too much over the years, and spent years of time on the hunt. Well another and another, and another and it never ends now. I was going to quit many many times and didn't and now it's a joke so I don't even say such nonsense anymore. Can't quit really, no end to the cool knives I see out there. It's worse than a drug to kick, watch out, might be you who gets hooked next. By the way that's a cool motif on that none. Love that stuff. Always wanted to be the Indians when we played Cowboys and Indians. Some of my fave Americans are Crazy Horse, Geronimo, Chief Joseph, Sitting Bull. Beautiful knife.

Yesterday, when helping with shearing the sheep, I had three on me, even though only the fixed blade was on my side clipped to the waistband of my shorts--the RR Loomfixer and Leatherman were set aside closeby--RR for trimming hooves, Leatherman for quick adjustments of equipment in case someone left a tool behind.

Esse Izula, RR Denim Micarta Half Hawk (Loom Fixer), and Leatherman Bond.

Today, far simpler--just my Sanremu 7010LUISGT, the camo version.

It is definitely one of the best "off-brand" budget blades that I've tried.

Hey Cody! I'm really not sure how old my lil' cowgirl & horse is, but thanks for your guesstimate :) I just thought she was so cute and I had to have one after I saw yours! I got her some friends too.

I am sorry, but I do not not what "EO" means. All I know, is that it's a sheepsfoot
"Easy Open". It usually means a knife has a cutout in the handle, usually towards the tip of the blade, that makes it easier to grab the blade and open it.

Thanks on my Yellowhorse. And yes, it was definitely way more fun to be an Indian in a game of Cowboys & Indians - if I recall correctly we used to squabble over it. I have this one other David Yellowhorse depicting an Indian Chief's profile. I really love his work.

Hey that one's a beauty. Love the arrow heads in there and the Chief. Great knife.
You nailed it. Every time I quit something else comes up that I just gotta have or know might not be available again. Then hook, line, sinker: sucker caught. Embarrassing. ::facepalm::
