Q.S. my advice is don't EVER buy a can of Red Bull that big... my experience was that it may keep you awake for a cross country drive, but you end up losing a lot of time stopping WAY too much to relive yourself. ... and then you can't sleep for about 3-4 days...Quick Steel wrote: ↑Tue Jul 11, 2023 11:21 pm On the hwy yesterday I spotted this car advertising Red Bull. I couldn't get a side view shot but the sides were highly stylized. On back and top rode a huge can of Red Bull.

I posted a pic of me and my buddy building a ramp gate for my utility trailer back in May. He finally finished it up for me a couple of weeks ago. I put a couple of coats of paint on it and she's good to go. I am very happy with this - much better than to two heavy ramps that hung off the side of the trailer. I removed and stored those, and cut off the angle iron hooks they hung on.

Thanks QS! It was a rust bucket back when I started last year. I told my wife I think I am finally about done with it.
I don't think she believed me.
...and while I was backing the trailer back under the RV cover, I noticed what looked like a bird next built on a 6 foot step ladder we had stored under there. I went over an peeked into it, and sure enough, a couple of Cardinal eggs. I am surprised a rat snake hasn't made off with these.

Eustace, is the last photo of a chapel carved into a hill? It seems to be filled with icons.

Yes, it's a rock-hewn chapel on the marble quarry peninsula. The chapel has been in use for at least 1,500 years.Quick Steel wrote: ↑Wed Aug 09, 2023 3:09 pm Eustace, is the last photo of a chapel carved into a hill? It seems to be filled with icons.

Just returned home after a few days visit to my sister’s place near Creede, CO. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery, and the weather! Most days the high temps were low 70s, lows mid-30s. It cools off fast when the sun sets! It was 34°Wednesday at 6 AM.

Re: Pictures of Miscellaneous Stuff & Things
We enjoyed our visit. Stopped in Lubbock on Saturday to attend our niece’s graduation from Texas Tech (she’s a professor, got her PhD degree). Then on to Creede for a few days visit with my sister and BIL there. Saw the comedy play Clue at the Creede Repertory Theater https://creederep.org/2023-season/, toured an old mine and mining museum https://undergroundminingmuseum.com/, did a lot of exploring and sightseeing, and ate some good meals. Amazing lot of things to do in that area besides the beautiful scenery. Never wet a hook but that’s something for next time!
