Thank you!Quick Steel wrote: ↑Sun Jun 25, 2023 12:05 pm A very nice photo OC. I like the light and shade aspect of it. Not at all common in train shots.

In process of moving right now, went out and checked my new area yesterday during lunch - small yard where NS interchanges with Carolina Coastal. CSX also comes through this small yard with one phosphate train daily. Didn't see a CSX yesterday, but I hear them on the phosphate line. OH

Very cool, O.H!
My brother sent these pictures of a recent derailment in the yards at Cumberland, close to the old hump. Main was not affected, luckily.

It also smacked a power line pole that went down to Warrior Run, so they had to fix it today.

Great shots, John, thanks for posting, and thank your brother. Does he have to take those pics on the sly, or are there no restrictions?1967redrider wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2023 11:32 pm It also smacked at power line pole the went down to Warrior Run, so they had to fix it today.

Don't leave that knife sitting there very long, someone (like me) might snag it.

That is an awesome shot!
Stopped by the Rochelle Railroad Park recently. Here are a couple of pics of a 4 loco BNSF intermodal, and an old Whitcomb on display. The Whitcomb locomotives were built in Rochelle.
