I haven't purchased a fixed blade in quite some time, and since I've always admired these Schrade daggers I bought this one!
9" oal with a double-edged blade featuring fullers on both sides, removeable pommel with storage in the handle, and teeny-tiny brass glass-breaker tip. Comes with a locking polymer sheath. An all round useful knife!

Thanks ::handshake:: M&M, ::tu:: Well a beautiful brown jigged bone was also available, but I went with the green, I couldn't resist it.

M&M, that is sweet ::tu:: ::tu:: A great pick ::nod:: ... It looks like a Chris Reeve Knives model to me. He makes really good stuff ... and really expensive! A Schrade version is a great way to own one for a much lower cost. ::hmm::

I certainly see why you couldn't resist the green bone, Dog, and I'm sure the brown jigged bone would look great too!
I've never seen a Chris Reeve fixed blade, but I have no doubt they'd be costly just like his folders are, and my Schrade came in at well under $100. so I'm happy.
Thx for the compliment, buddy!

My brother picked up his Mcalevy custom this AM. Bro designed this small hunter from a K Bar folder. Very close to same blade and handle profile.
7"OAL, with a 3" blade of CPM154 SS, satin finish. green giraffe bone handles w nickel/silver gaurd & bolsters and a mosaic pin and red, black & white spacers fore and single red spacer aft. Has a tapered tang as well. over all a real nice knife in hand. I couldnt get the nice green handle material to sho any better. My twin knife set is in the rough and hope to pick them up in about 3 weeks.

steve99f wrote: Fri Jun 02, 2023 7:37 pm Was chatting (texting) with younger son Pete this afternoon. Turns out he and his wife Lisa are in Tennessee on vacation near Pigeon Forge and he mentioned that they were going to SMKW. After a second to let that sink in, I asked if they could look for a Case Loom fixer handled in bone. The result is below at a very good price. Only the one pic and it does have some blade wiggle but that can be fixed. Case XX USA. It's been used. Can't wait to get it here.
Update on what was delivered. It's a Case XX USA 6 dot as opposed to a '65 to '70 era knife. In addition it has the pakkawood handles that were introduced this year for the loom fixer. According to Steve's book they came in bone and pakka for this year only(transition year). Knife is in good shape for HOK. Cleaned out the pocket lint, oiled the pivot and put some Ren wax on it. Good to go. A great FD gift, thank you kids!

Picked up a couple last week. Haven't been out looking much lately, spending too much money sprucing up the house. Hope everyone is well..

Picked up a nice Camillus 69 Deluxe Stockman. It had been sharpened by a rabid beaver, but I was just wanting it as an EDC.
It has some nice work on the liners, still has good walk and talk, plus you can still see the remnants of the "Camillus Deluxe Stockman" etch.

Also picked up this nice little Buck Spitfire. I have a weakness for orange knives.. Ha!

Are those covers on your Buck wood? ::shrug:: They look like it on my screen.
Good hearing from you, buddy, hope the house is shaping up!

Thanks Marco! My pictures stink. The Buck is anodized aluminum. I haven't been out knife hunting lately. I
always check in, but haven't been posting because I haven't had anything new to show until these two. The
Blade Show was right in my backyard, but I didn't make it this year because of my knife budget being pretty
bad this year.. It's getting better though! Hope you're well, my friend!

I've wanted one of these Cold Steel "Spike" neck knives with a Tanto blade for some time, but since I could never find one available I settled for this model with a drop-point blade! German steel blade, and Griv-Ex handle material. 8" oal is a bit smaller than I was expecting but still acceptable! Comes with a "Secure-Ex" sheath. Overpriced, IMHO!

Nothing to be too excited about, got several from the shallow end of the bay:
005.JPG
A small Geo. Schrade wire frame, a Queen#51-1976 vintage with half stops, a small Ranger 3 blade, 3 spring stockman, unused, a larger Ranger Jack that would make a great EDC for a youngster, an old Kutmaster Barlow and a decent Schrade Walden #136 with a shackle. :)
Sad part is, the shipping is usually more than the cost of the knife. ::hmm::
