Picked up the Queen swingrt and the Schat mt. man at the GEC meet this AM. Never even made it inside the building! Met a couple AAPK members as well.
That Schatt & Morgan Keystone Series is top notch. I like this style of bone a lot ::tu::

Ya know, half the pleasure of having things is sharing them with others. Everybody who comes here gets dragged into the display room, and the bantam pens. I didnt do that when I had the guns. I enjoy seeing what others interests are even if they arent in my line of interests.

I've been searching and waiting for for a Black & Blue Elephant Toe for a couple years. Then last week SMKW sent a message saying they were back in stock. It was in the mailbox tonight! :D

Some beauties in there, love the "Shiner" and the Swell Center with the wormgroove. Great group. ::tu:: ::tu::

No S&Ms, but did pick up a couple Schrades from Jeffinn, one in the wormgroove genre. Love his work and the patterns he saves from the Delrin. Thanks Jeff.

Congratulations on finally getting one you've been waiting for, Ken, that's such a nice feeling when that happens!
That big ole' "Toe" is a fine looking knife!

There's a couple of beauties, Iman!
You can always be sure it'll be good if Jeff has had his hands on it!
I noticed that the covers on the top knife appear quite similar to the covers on the new Moki's, burnt orange barbed-wire, Mark/SSk used, similar but not the same!

Ken, clearly your new knife was worth the wait.

Iman, I like both your knives. The micarta covers are really interesting...unusual.

On Sunday, after fishing, I went through my father's home village to visit my cousin and my aunt. After a hearty lunch of roast pork (a free-range pig fed mostly on oak and beech acorns. This is something unique!), my cousin pulled out a rusty knife and said, "This knife was our grandfather's. I found it in the old house, when I was renovating. I immediately thought of you."
Well, this is grandfather's old knife. I will freshen it up a bit and it will take a worthy place in my collection.

Congrats Eustace, would love to have a knife from Granddad, that is a treasure and an heirloom. Can't wait to see that cleaned up and happy for you. Nice score. ::tu::

You're a lucky guy, Eustace! ::tu::
That's a beautiful old knife that I'm sure will clean-up nicely, and then you'll have a fond memory of your grandpa every time you look at it or use it! ::nod::

Thank you! I'm not planning a restoration. I want to keep the patina. I'll just clean it with a rag and WD-40, oil it and sharpen it.

That’s a real nice Canoe, Jim! How about a group shot of your faith based knives?

That’s a hunk of knife, Ken! Looks great!

Awesome Schrades there, Iman!

What a special piece there, Eustace! Do you know the maker?
