Case Tony Bose back pocket parts .

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Case Tony Bose back pocket parts .

Post by zed6309 »

I picked up these parts for a case back pocket , it came with its original bolsters but whoever took it apart did it badly ,so I went with a shadow pattern, canvas micarta, all brass pins , and I made the shield and pinned it , I’ve never made or fitted a shield before and wasn’t easy , but I learnt a lot , the blade sadly isn’t centered but it’s a case so possibly was like that when it was built ,and way I’m happy with it be it feels great in the hand , I made the toggle on the lanyard from a bullet case , a friend is sending me some 22 shells to finish off the lanyards ends ::tu::

Now that’s fantastic! I’m a big fan of that knife, I have one myself. I think you did a great job on the covers and the shield. ::tu::
