Will do. So far polishes have little effect. Anyone try that case paste stuff? It seems to do good on carbon spotting. I’ve yet to try it. Thanks again

Case paste works well but it doesn’t remove really heavy stuff.

to the forum, personally just to me I like patina, to get all that off you gonna have to buff a lot of metal off, but hey it's yore thang do what'cha ya wanta do.

As Homer said, you'd be taking off quite a bit of metal along with the patina. Were it my call, I'd leave it alone. It's a dandy old knife!
