One of my favorite brands. You have a nice one there to slip in your pocket. I’m digging that matchstrike pull.

I could look at knives like that old PAL all day long. Nice work...

Thanks all, my daily carry. I may work on that carbon on the blade. Tough stuff. Thanks again.

Let us know what you do to the blade and if it works.

Will do. So far polishes have little effect. Anyone try that case paste stuff? It seems to do good on carbon spotting. I’ve yet to try it. Thanks again

Re: Fresh off the buffer
Case paste works well but it doesn’t remove really heavy stuff.

Ok thanks all. I may leave well enough alone then. I don’t need another nubby knife. Thanks again

As Homer said, you'd be taking off quite a bit of metal along with the patina. Were it my call, I'd leave it alone. It's a dandy old knife!

Re: Fresh off the buffer
I'm with Homer and Dan. As long as it's not getting worse, leave it. It's the knife's life history. JMHO, J.O'.
