Made in Bradford Event

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Made in Bradford Event

Post by hburnett »

Hello! My name is Halley and I am the manager of the Case Collectors Club based in Bradford, PA. If you don't already know me, I have been in the position for almost a year, but have been with the club about 1 year and 2 months. On Friday July 14th, we will be hosting a Case Collectors Club only Made in Bradford Collectors Reunion that will feature Tours of the Case Factory, Wall of Fame induction, Panel Discussion, Dinner, Auction, and exclusive collectables among other exciting things.

If you're not a Case Collectors Club member and would like to join and participate in the event on Friday, please use this link to sign up for the club!

If you are a member and would like to register for the Friday activity, please use this link to register! You MUST be a Case Collectors Club member to register for the Friday activity.

On Saturday July 15th, the Made in Bradford event will be open to the public and feature a ton of activities. Our honers and buffers will be on site for the day, a whittling workshop will take place, family fun games, food trucks and more will be available for you to enjoy. We will have a "Makers" tent set up that will feature Bradford based Makers and Artisans from the surrounding Bradford area, along with a Swapping tent. To register to swap at the event, you don't need to be a member. We still have some spots open and up for grabs! If you'd like to swap at the event, please contact me at hburnett@wrcase.com, and I will send you the application document. The e-mail that is attached to the application does not currently work, so it will be best to send those applications directly to myself.

I hope to see you there!

Hi Halley, thanks so much for posting this notice!! Have you also posted notice on Blade Forum? Probably good to post it there too. Hopefully Case/Zippo can return to putting on one of the finest knife swap meets in the country! I have to admit I am surprised you haven't received a lot of replies to your announcement, but I am sure many read it and some of those who did will attend.

I have not but I will put a post up on Blade Forum as well! Thank you for reminding me! I did receive many new members over the weekend, hoping some of them are from here! We'll begin entering those new members today and hope to have an even better turnout than we were expecting already!

The Case Collectors Club generally holds an event every other year, but this will be our second year in a row holding an event. This is a Zippo/Case combined event. We will more than likely hold our next event in 2025.
