Always best to heed that little voice because if you don't and the knife gets away, that little voice has a way of turning into a never-ending cacophony that will continue to echo inside your skull for the rest of your natural knife-collecting life. I particularly am attracted to the Pena model, but since I still need both of my arms and legs, the odds against my obtaining one seem slim to none.
That won't stop me from looking though!

Really like that one. Beautiful bones, great style, the era, the steel. Nothing not to like. Congrats on that score.

Snagged the little red western at the show Saturday. Only 2 knife sellers showed but good stuff. Some cheap china things and a couple of knife makers. but I was happy.
The Moki trout just arrived from japan today. 4 days from time of order to my door! Another coming tomorrow from our own Sharp n Shiny guy.

That Moki is one sharp blade!! Got the blood dripping for proof.

Nice Rob. Especially the Moki. I like their bird and trout knives too. I have 4 now. Always looking for handle materials on those that I don’t have. That Western is pretty nice too.

Nice Rob, I can really see the difference now. I like the one I sold you better too. Like that swedge on the top of the blade, plus I just love cocobolo and the pearl and abalone accents really set that off.

Those are some really nice elephant toes Jamie. Very nice. I have a soft spot for those knives. Never carried one since most have thumbnail breaking pulls.

Thank you and yes the springs on them are the same springs used on the back of F-350s

Beautiful toes buddy!
I didn't realize that the strong pulls on these knives is standard, I thought my RR Hippo-Toe was the only one that breaks nails when trying to open, but now it seems the design is notorious for that feature.
Absolutely gorgeous stag/bone on your copies Jamie!

Thanks friend, I assure you that these three are very hard on the nails, but man are they beautiful….

The only elephant toe I’ve ever handled that didn’t break your thumbnail is the A.G. Russell version. My first RR elephant toe was one of the hardest to open knives I’ve ever handled. I sold it a long time ago for that very reason. I don’t collect many of these. The older ones are the best, but I know the springs are just going to kill me if I indulge.
