Any ideas on how old this knife is? 1990's? 1980's?

Personally no, I don't, but it sure is cool. The weathered covers look great. I have a few C Jul Herbertz knives, no autos just manuals, and they're among my favorites. Yours is the first more traditional auto I've seen, they're more often modern builds.

I am pretty sure that my father bought this at least 20 years ago, and maybe much more. The knife snaps open with authority and is very tight when open.

Re: C Jul Herbertz
Yeah, 1970's rings true to me. I inherited this from my father, and I thinks that he procured a lot of his collection in the 1970s and 1980s. Thanks for the insight, Folgore1.
