2001 case pocket worn

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

There are some listed here:

I believe that’s a page from the Case 2001 standard product catalog. Gary (kennedy knives) can confirm. If it is that does not mean at some point during that year they didn’t make some other patterns with those same covers.

Case might be able to provide a list of all the patterns made that year in those covers. They also may not, but the best way to find out is to ask them. Www.caseknives.com. Scroll down to the bottom to find their contact information.

BTW it’s unlikely that anyone would counterfeit a 2001 knife. Just not enough money in it. Most counterfeit Case knives are pre-1980, with the bulk of them being pre-1965.
