Welcome to AAPK. Are those Case Classics? Or Shepherd Hills SFOs?

Re: Two elephant toes
Thanks, just curious since I know some of those with celluloid covers were made when the Case Classics were made. I think those had a 050 pattern number instead of 50. The Case Classics were a little bigger knives, (hence the 0 in the pattern numbers). Nice looking Toes. If you can post pictures of the blade markings I might be able to help you with your research.

Re: Two elephant toes
Be careful.
In the picture it appears the candy stripe might be starting to outgas.
Slight discoloring at the bolster edges and shield.
Better picture might tell a different story.

Re: Two elephant toes
Thanks for the tip, I have attached two better pictures showing the handle,
I do keep the handles and bolsters coated with Renaissance Wax to try to preserve the knife.
Re: Two elephant toes
I don't see it in these pictures.

Re: Two elephant toes
Could have possibly been poor lighting in the original picture
