Haha, the signs are about all I can afford. They're all repro's anyway, but it's fun.

That is very classy, respectful, the way it should be done!
The Scout troop that our church sponsors does a flag burning every year or so but they use a 55-gallon drum. I need to share this with the Scout leader.

My brother Ken and I took a road trip to our hunting area in Sinnemahoning, PA in Cameron county. Lotsa mountains. The point was to survey the ground we hunt to see what has changed. A great excuse for a roadtrip. We saw fox, ground hogs, a small flock of turkeys, deer showing us the flag and a mama black bear with 3 very small cubs. The bear family was the first time for us to see bear in that area. Of course these sightings were all from the car and our camera's in our pockets, so we just had to settle for the below:

As some of you know I started to repair knives a few months ago. So for Father’s day my son and daughter in law gave me this sigh. I thought it was neat and thought I would share. To all the Father’s out there Happy Father’s day to you. ::handshake::

It's the proper way to destroy a ragged, worn out American Flag.

No particular schedule. Boy Scouts may have a particular day they do it but for civilians, nope.

These photos were taken at Pisgah Gorge in northeast Alabama. The creek that carved this runs into The Tennessee River at Jones’s Cove just north of Scottsboro.

When I first visited this place in 1965, I could eventually get all three major falls in a photo, but it has grown up now and that’s no longer possible.

There is a trail along the rim on the eastern side. It can be a bit treacherous.

The photo with the dam is the upper falls. My son and grandson are in that photo atop the dam.

It’s a beautiful place and maintained by the local Civitan Club.

There wasn’t very much water in the creek at the time, but it poured rain for two hours after we got off the trail.
Probably should have gone back, but we needed to get home.
