Executive Trapper

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Executive Trapper

Post by cody6268 »

Looks like Case is now making a metal-handle, single blade version of the 54 Trapper--the M154 Executive Trapper. Appears the series will be called "Canvas Trappers" as most are decorated with engraved or printed patterns.

I think this is a neat, slim pattern; but I wish G-10 or Zytel had been used to cut down on weight. Also, I wish a plain version had been offered as wel, as for using knives, these patterns don't hold up. And not to mention, a Mini Trapper-based version for people like me who don't always carry a big knife.

I plan to either get the Elegant Scroll or Sharkmouth (Warhawk) versions.

I agree that several of those patterns are very appealing.
