ID Old George Wostenholms I*XL Celebrated Cutlery Knife.

Post by jmed57 »

I am a long time collector new to this Forum. I own an old Old George Wostenholms I*XL Celebrated Cutlery Knife, pre 1890 from the marking on the blade. Two spear point blades. Main about 3" and the secondary 2-1/8" 7" overall. It has an unusual solid steel body/handle that I have not been able to identify. Any information on type, age or any other particulars would be much appreciated.

jmed per Goins it appears your knife was manufactured between 1850-1890. Welcome to AAPK ::handshake:: Maybe someone else can tell you more about it than what I read in Goins.
