I notice you had to use the Global Shipping with their 87 digit tracking numbers for John's package too, huh bud!

You never know what the stamps.com app will use. But it will save quite a bit on shipping charges, you have to send out 8-10 packages a week to make the savings but you never know what tracking number system they hit you with.

Well, they may send a lot of updates and have really long tracking numbers, but my package seems to be moving along nicely so I won't complain!

Very solid looking CRKT Rick! Is the switch for automatic blade deployment or just for blade lock release? I realize it has a thumb hole for deployment, but many nowadays are also dual-action so that's why I ask! Thx!

Thanks, Mark. It’s a solid folder indeed. A manual opener that works very much like Benchmade’s Axis Lock.

D.O.G. Is an acronym for the name of the locking mechanism but I never can remember what it stands for. It’s an odd name and not easy to remember.

The mailman brought me a pair of Opinel No. 6s in olivewood today. A small water stone and a dishwasher-safe paring knife were also in the package.

You will not hear I’m sorry… it’s truly a beautiful knife… I buy a knife like that and when I’m ordering it I tell myself I’m going to carry it and when I get it I can’t make myself put it in my pocket…it goes behind glass cabinet

Thanks for the info Rick! It's actually quite funny that you mention D.O.G. in your post cuz I had never heard the term before and then not 10 minutes ago I read it in a knife description and thought, "hmm, wonder what that stands for?" Must be our think alike minds at work again! LOL!

Lastly, another one that I thought had some beautiful bone. A 1999 6215 SSM Small gunstock. Smooth Chestnut Appaloosa Bone handles, with the oval CASE XX shield. Like new, in the box with original paper wrap and card, no wear on the blades and never put to a stone. Another that the bone said take me home.

You knocked it out of the park with that one!!

First a Case 62009 1/2 in caramel bone, because I’m a sucker for the barnboard jigging.

Then a Corning knife co with delrin. Kind of beat up, but I used to live in Corning NY. It’s a conversation piece.

A couple of beauties you have there Willie! I'm a sucker for caramel colored covers, and seeing as I'd not heard the term "barnboard" jigging prior to your post, I learned somethin' today! And to top it all off they're Barlow's! The Corning will always supply you with memories of days gone by, cool!

Received a couple to add to my Camillus Family. First a Camillus long line #16 3-5/8" Equal End Jack. It is like new, and shows no signs of being put on a stone. Blades have some stains, but no pitting, and awesome snap. Cabone handles with what I think some call a Gimp Shield?

Next is a Camillus Cyber Knife II pattern CY2. This one is like new, doesn't have any signs of being sharpened, but does have some flecks on the edge of the green mother board handles. These were produced from 2000 to 2001 and about 5000 were produced. There have been some fakes produced, I believe this one is authentic, as I know the person I got it from, the rivets look to be correct and pattern on the handles look correct. But if any of the experts here can give their input I would appreciate it.

Thanks Marc. the Cabone handles were a description made by camillus in their catalogs. i believe it just basically related to to the color mix of the delrin along with the jigging. They are basically delrin handles, but the mixture of colors do look pretty good, and does look similar to polished bone. If the sun ever comes back out I will take some more photos of the Cyber Knife. The sun had ducked behind the clouds and the photos make it look like an extreme difference between the handle. The mark side is a little darker than the pile side, but not as drastic as the photos look.
