Are There Any BASEBALL Fans On The Forum?

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Okay, the Rangers will be better this year (hard to be worse than last year) with the additions of Semien, Seager, and Garver, but the pitching isn’t there yet. So I’ll go with the next best thing at the ballpark - Mac-n-cheese Nachos.

Very cool, Ken! It's a miserable day here weather wise, will be surprised if it actually happens. But it looks gorgeous there, enjoy! ⚾ 🍻 🎉

Actually that’s a picture from last year. The Rangers are opening this year on Friday (tomorrow) in Toronto, where it’s currently raining with temperature in the 40s. ::woot:: Home opener here is Monday, and with the retractable roof it won’t matter what the weather is - if it’s too cold, too hot, or raining they’ll just close the roof. Our youngest son is taking me to the game, should have good seats (he’s got friends in low places). ::sotb::

Meanwhile today I’m currently watching the cheating Brewers play the Cubs at Wrigley, while waiting for the Pirates at St. Louis to start later this afternoon. ::groove::

Nats/Mets 0-0 in the Fourth. With today's weather I'm shocked they're even playing. 50° and dumped rain all morning.

John, it is disheartening but it's only one game. Come back and talk to me sometime around the end of May.

I hope we have something good to talk about, Jerry. But the Nats unloaded a lot of decent players late last season and didn't pick up any replacements. I think this will be another transition year, which sucks for us fans.

It is really weird to see Anthony Rizzo in a Yankee uniform.

It took 10 innings but the Cubs took down Atlanta 6-3. The home run by Patrick Wisdom, in the top of the 10th, sealed the deal.

All is not lost Ferg. Cincinnati is still the home of WCKY.

Cubs managed to take one from Milwaukee. ::tu::

With a solid 7-3 win today following a decisive win yesterday, the lowly Rangers managed to take 2 out of 3 from the prevailing world champion Atlanta Braves. ::ds:: As usual pitching is the name of the game. A couple of the Rangers youngsters looked pretty good. And Adolis Garcia continues to rake!
