Winchester Canoe Whittler Burnt Orange Winchester Jigged Bone 1998
From a recent 13 piece Winchester collection purchased from a fellow AAPK member. This is a Canoe Whittler made by or for Blue Grass Cutlery, it's difficult to know if Queen made this or supplied the components for final assembly by Blue Grass. The scales are burnt orange Winchester jigged bone that is chip and crack free. The blades have not been used or resharpened and retain their factory edges. This is a true whittler with a split backspring design. The pull on the main blade is more difficult than on the other two because of the design of putting the pressure of two backsprings onto the main blade to help keep it open during use. Good snap and no wobble or play. Measures 3 3/4" closed OAL. Comes with the original box and warranty paperwork. Free shipping within the USA.
