Black Box Winchester – 1990 Swell Center Half Whittler – W15 2903 - Jigged Bone
Black Box Winchester knife made by Queen in Titusville, PA. Made in 1990. Swell Center Half Whittler pattern W15 2903, release # 25 of the series. There were 1186 of these knives made in this run. Measures 3 1/2 inch closed. 2 blades on 1 spring. Old Rogers jigged bone handles. Nickel silver bolsters, brass liners, carbon steel blades, and nickel silver federal shield.
This knife does not have half stops. It comes with the original box. All blades have the Winchester tang stamp, and the main blade has the Winchester Trade Mark blade etch. The handles are in flawless condition with no defects. The knife is unused and unsharpened.
*The carbon blades on this knife have started to develop some black spots which are visible in the photos. Main blade has a bit softer snap, but does still snap closed. The pen blade has a slight side wobble to it when fully open.
