Schrade SC502 Scrimshaw

PATTERN:   SC502, The scrimshaw version of the 152OT, Sharpfinger.

HANDLE ETCH:   Rams head on the mark side and then oval for engraving initials on the pile side.

BLADE ETCH:   SCHRADE / SCRIMSHAW

OAL:   7-1/2”

BLADE LENGTH:   3-1/2”

GUARD:   Integral guard

HANDLE:  White delrin

TANG STAMPS:   SCHRADE / U.S.A. SC 502

SHEATH:   Black leather sheath appears to be in new condition.

CONDITION:   Near mint

DAMAGE:   There is light patina on the carbon steel blade, and it has begun to obscure the blade etch, however the etch is still visible.

BLADE WEAR:   Appears full but may have been sharpened. See pictures.

AGE:    The Ram head scrimshaw was offered in the 1981 Schrade catalog.

MADE IN:   U.S.A.

ADDITIONAL INFO:     The Rams head scrimshaw SC502 it is shown in the 1981 Schrade catalog. I'm not sure if that image was used on later productions or not. This knife appears to have been lightly used but seems to have spent most of its life in storage.
