My son brought home a case xx buffalo knife.
I checked it out on ebay and the ones listed there all have dots to tell the age. Ours has none. It is a case xx p172
Can anyone help me with the age or value?? It does have the buffalo stamp on it but has been sharpened at least once or twice and the blade is somewhat dirty. Or light rust. Thanks for any info
how can i tell how old a case xx buffalo knife is

Hello and welcome to the forum!
Case did not start puting dots on its knives until 1970. The lack of dots usually indicates that you have a pre 1970 knife. Check out this link for more info...
