help identifying knife press button knife company

wondering if someone can help me. I have a knife it says press button knife co. walden ny on one side the other side says u.s. pat 470605. What year is it from? aproximate value? any other interesing info? Thanks Ron

Hey Ron;
If you will pull and reduce your photo to 600xdefault we will be able to see it on one page.
The knife was patented in 1892 if 470605 is correct. The Presto Co. was formed in 1892 by George Schrade. Switchblades are just like other knives, condition is what counts. A good investment would be RT Langstons book on Switchblades.
Wish I could tell you more. I imagine someone will direct you to another forum, there are some excellent Schrade people there.

As MOSSDANCER mentions, if you will resize your photo, and post it to attention lt632ret (Mr. Rich Langston) @ bladeforums (under Schrade Collectors forum) he will probably nail it for you.
