Working on software upgrades.... Please report any problems

Post by Bryan »

Hi everyone. I'm in the process of updating the forum software to add a few new features, patch security issues, etc...

If you notice any problems with how things are running, please email me at [email protected] or post them here.

Also, it's a pretty good sized task, so I'll be missing in action for a couple days... I hope ya'll won't miss me too much

serenity now, serenity now, serenity now....

Has anyone else noticed the following...

Do you have to log in every time you visit now? ...when it used to have you logged in automatically... I'm having this problem and was wondering if everyone else is...

Thanks!

Bryan and stagman,

I'm NO computer guy...but it sounds like something to do with the cookies for this site. Do you guys have something that erases your history trail/temporary internet files when you shut down or maybe just leave the internet? No matter, try deleting any old cookies for AAPK, and logging in again to get new ones...maybe the old ones are corrupted. If you already knew this...well, sorry for the waste of bandwith.

 Yea, I specifically keep you trapped on here. I do that on purpose  ...kidding

I've changed a few things on the log in/out page, and it seemed to change how the "keep me logged in" function works. Thanks to everyone for reporting how it's working for you.

I'm going to check my cookie set up and see if that's the problem. Bill's probably right on as usual ::tu::

I'll get it working just right for everyone eventually.

Log In Problems

Post by ivanskee68 »

I've always had to log in until recently. I just figured that was because I bought a couple of expensive knives off of Bryan, he made it easier for an old man like me. Only foolin'.
