Can't ID Maker, Could Use Help

Post by Paladin »

I have just acquired a small collection of knives and 4 or 5 of them are tang stamped RAY KEENUM (over) USA. The clip blades have an etch ALABAMA (over) Lil TRAPPER or whatever the pattern might be.

I never have run across this name before. Anyone have any info on him? I found nothing in Goins or Levines.

Thanks,
Ray

:D Just for the record, I contacted Jim Sargent to see if he might have heard of this Ray Keenum person.
Jim says Ray was an Alabama knife dealer 25-30 years ago. He sold out to Jim. These knives were made for him by Queen in that time period. Later today, I'll try to get a photo or two posted just for the heck of it. :D
