All I can make out is an RN above Soligen Germany......any help would be appreciated.

Might be ERN as in Gustav Emil Ern.

also friedrich ern & company , solingen, -1910-
and, c. friedrich ern & co. 1873- goins suggests they started making hunting knives after wwII.
