Remington-Camillus Question

I have a few Camillus made Remington carpenter/whittler pocket knives...on the back of the Tang one has "R14" another has "72" and the other one is blank. I was just wondering if there was any signifigance to the respective numbers? I included a pic, not the greatest though... Thanks.

I would say those are pattern numbers. That is the same as the Camillus #72 whittler.

Camillus made these Remingtons and I think the model #72 is basically the same knife as Camillus own #72. Master clip, coping blade and a small clip. I happen to have the Camillus #72 in my pocket today! I've had it for many years. Makes a good EDC.
