Contrast kinda makes a nice mix. Just finished this one 15 mins ago. Bought less scales on ebay and let r rip.

No, all I did was put the scales on, but that took me about 6 hrs including the shields. Blades are damascus.

Don't know if it qualifies as a kit since it is completely assembled less the scales. It was made in Seki city which I have a high regard for. The blades are genuine Damascus. I thought I was taking a chance to buy it but after I have it in hand I think it was a good buy. It's at least as well made as a Case. I also worried about the steel. After sharpening it (and with good experience doing so) I believe the steel on the edge is very good. Just sent it to my little brother for his Bday. thx everyone for the generous compliments, makes me want to hurry back to my shop and finish the 4 others I'm working on.
