Case Goldstone

Post by billmem »

I have been collecting Case Mother of Pearl knives for several years....and I must say I have a few, but now I am hooked on Case Goldstone (or goldflake). I have noticed on some of the auction sites that Case made a number of the Goldstone in the Centennial set.
My question is ...How many were in this set?

I hope someone out there can help me....Thanks

welcome bill. as far as i can find, case made 3,000 each of at least 15 different patterns with 500 of them in mint sets.

There were 15+ different GS models in the Centennial set. Case had a real problem with producing 1st quality handles in this material and it is not getting any better with age.

Hi billmem - welcome to the site

I have a book on Cases centennial and I think it has pictures of the entire line of goldstone that they produced for it. I can scan the pages and post if you are intrested.
