Case Tested XX Lever Lock

Post by needbucks »

Hi Gang.

A buddy of mine had a family member pick up this old Case Tested Lever Lock at an auction. As you can see it has been well used and sharpened. It has a chip out of the pile side scale and a crack on both scales. I had never seen one of these until today. The blade still locks open and closed though with a bit of "rattle" in the open position. Can you speculate on the value?

Completely worthless; but being so good-hearted I will give $25 for it right now ::paranoid::

There were two of these IIRC the 61L(4 3/8 closed) and the 71L(5 3/8 closed) My tested catalogs and price sheet show the 61 in both bone and stag and the 71 in stag. Sargent's shows both in both.
