Buck Custom 192 Vanguard?

Hoyt Buck produced the first Buck Knife in 1902. Hoyt and his son Al moved to San Diego and set up shop as H.H. Buck & Son in 1947. Al Buck revolutionized the knife industry in 1964 with the infamous Model 110 Folding Hunter. The company's innovative history and attention to quality have made for many great collectible knives.

Buck Custom 192 Vanguard?

Post by Sasquach »

Can any of you Buck collectors tell me anything about this knife? I just purchased it and the seller couldn't give me any background. It has a solid walnut handle shaped differently than the standard 192 and it also has a larger pommel with exposed tang screw. It is also slightly larger than the standard 192 and the blade finish is mirror polished. The tang stamp indicates that it was made in 2022.I have not been able to find out anything about it. Any help finding some background on this knife will be greatly appreciated.
