Spring for Buck 703 - Early 2 Spring Version

Post by TDfuture »

Hi,

I've got a nice 2-spring version of the Buck 703. The shared spring is broken (which is why they changed the design). It's not a sound idea, but I want to replace the spring. However, I'm having a tough time finding a 2-Spring 703 ready for the junk drawer to salvage a spring from. Can anyone help me without selling me an expensive knife to destroy?

I know it's not a great idea, but in this case, it's all about the experience!

Doug
