Anybody repair Hammer Brand Autos?

I ended up with a candy striped Hammer Brand automatic knife. It snaps open but is whimpy and falls back.
Anybody open to repairing this for me?
I can trade or pay.

Scott,
If you have some Quick Release oil, try that before you send it off to be repaired. It is formulated by Latama for switchblades and it works great! Sometimes that is all that is needed to make them fire better. It's so good, it's about all I use, even on slip joints.
If that doesn't fix it, Kaleb, muskrat man, does repairs, as well as others here on AAPK.

Thanks Dale. I tried the QR oil but it didn't work this time.

Theres a few reasons for that, dirt & debris in the lock slot of the blade not allowing the sear to fully drop down into the lock slot (blow compressed air in the tang area with the blade closed) a worn edge of the lock slot on the blade & a rounded edge of the button sear. Try the air & report back.

No help. Blade flips out then falls back half way as shown in photo.

With the blade closed can you see the slit in the butt of the blade, see if it has crisp edges, one side may be chipped off

That appears to be the case

The blade will have to be welded to recreate the edge, which may be cost prohibitive.
