Modified screwdriver?

Picked up the Cattaraugus knife this past Thursday at a knife show.
Was this a electrician knife that had the screwdriver modified
or did they make some knives like this?
Looking at the blade very carefully is looks original ( or
the person did an excellent job changing it)

p.s. that blade does have a locking mechanism that
