Some other uses for antlers:
handles for dust pan & broom.
handles for poultry shears
handles for letter openers
canvas for a bear painting
a bolo tie(handle,base,& tips).

I once had a pistol with stag grips. Years ago.

Thanks for reminding me! Here is a pair for either a Ruger mk2 or a Browning Hi Power. I forget which. I was going to cut them down to fit my Detonics mk 1 but did a set of Pachmyers instead. Worked better IMO.
