Case xx 5265 blade etching removal

Case xx 5265 blade etching removal
I recently purchased a relatively new Case XX 5265 that has personalized "etching" on the blades. Can this be removed without harming the blade, and can anyone identify the year/ I have guessed it is 2019 but could be wrong.
