New Marbles knives.....

Post by HickoryNut »

I bought a couple new Marbles knives and dont know anything about them. They are both congress patterns. One has cut pearl handles and the other id stag.
I picked them up cheap and should have them in a couple days. Does anone here know where these are made. I know the old Marbles knives are highly collectible, but have no idea about the new ones.

The newest folding knives are made in China.

Note the language regarding a 'worldwide economic and business environment'. Or, check out Smoky Mountain Knifeworks.....

I can't tell you much more, as I don't own any of the new knives, produced offshore.

Some/most of the fixed blades may still be made in the U.S.A.

We were at SMKW this pass week end.

All the Marbles straight/hunting knives I looked at were made in China. They have tables/islands full of China made Remington's, Marbles, etc. thoughout the 2nd floor. We are talkin' 10-15 dollar stuff :| or at least that is what it looked like to me. JMO

The did have a one Real USA Safety Ax back in the Antique section. ::tu::

Be sure to read "Irons in the Fire" March Knife World :|

I asked about Marble's newer knives a while back. Check the second page of general discussion board or try this link to see the replies I got:

I agree with El Lobo...The newer Marbles are made in China. About a year ago I bought an Elephant Toe and on the back of the main blade it says China... Still a great looking knife though.. I paid $12.99 for it.

Ok 9-ball.
Sounds real good to me. Sheila's Birthday is April 13th. We will be having breakfast with her mom and dad, before we leave. But yes, we'd like to meet up. I'm bringing a couple of oldies for the folks at smkw to appraise for me. later kj
