Beginner Knife Maker

I'm looking for a good entry level folding pocket knife kit for my grandson. I would like one that does not require machine sanding or forming, just hand sanding and polishing in either a trapper or stockman. This will be his first knife assembly before we get into finishing the scales. I have a fixed blade that we will be putting a wood handle on. BTW, he's 10 years old but already pretty good with power tools under supervision. Can anyone recommend a seller where I can buy a complete folding pocket knife assembly kit with scales to size, pins, blades, liners and everything needed that is made in USA? I haven't made a knife in 30 yrs, so we're kind of starting out together. I do have a couple of belt sanders and a polisher. Thanks.

Thanks Tom. I bought one of these but unfortunately, I broke the handle trying to insert the center spring pin. I have new handle blanks but need to work on the holding fixture to compress the spring to line up the holes. Any pointers?

All you need is a wooden handscrew clamp to compress the spring.
